Wetland and Watercourse Permitting

Depending on your project location, multiple types of permits may be needed at the federal, state, or local level for wetland and watercourse impacts.  The need for clearances from state and federal fish and wildlife agencies, as well as state and local setback rules and floodplain authorizations, can make determining which type of permit vehicle is necessary for your project a daunting task.  Palustris Environmental assists our clients in the permitting process, most of the time from the start of a project, to eliminate the confusion with this process and ensure your project timelines are met.

Palustris Environmental is a leader in wetland and watercourse permitting, successfully obtaining state and federal wetland and watercourse impact permits throughout our operating area.

Authorizations consistently obtained for our clientele include:

  • US Army Corps of Engineers Nationwide Permits, Individual Permits, and Letters of Permission (West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana)
  • Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Joint Permits and General Permits
  • State 401 Water Quality Certifications
  • West Virginia Division of Natural Resources Stream Activity Permits
  • Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation Aquatic Resource Alteration Permit
  • County Floodplain Permits (West Virginia and Ohio)
  • State Construction Stormwater Permits
